Introduction

Recently I have felt the calling to write more and more... for others. Up to this point I have only written for myself through journaling.  This is one of the first times I have really felt like God is calling me to do something, to write to others, for others, for moms.  The thoughts of blogging kept coming to mind, and I kept pushing them away, instead I would think "I am not a blogger, I barely even read blogs, how can I think I could just start my own and anybody would read it?"  Well, here I am anyway, about a week after I started the blog I told my sister-in-law about it, I was hesitant to tell anyone yet, its intimidating to be trying something new where you might fail, where you might feel too exposed,  but she was so encouraging and supportive that it really gave me the boost I needed to at least keep on trying.  I lost two babies (a first trimester miscarriage, then a second trimester miscarriage) in 2014 and have filled several journals writing about the devastation and grief as tears stream down my face, but also of hope and faith and how I can see the Lord is somehow working in it all.  Writing about that is what really got me started wanting to write to help others but I am also a stay-at-home, homeschooling mommy to six children here on earth, my oldest is 11 1/2 and youngest is 2 1/2 so I have a lot to "talk about"!  We have homeschooled since the beginning and I have a passion for homeschooling, motherhood in general, as well as hopefully reaching out to others who have experienced losing a baby through miscarriage.
