St. Patrick's Day word search and Spring Homeschooling

Why is St. Patrick’s Day such a fun holiday??

Rainbows

Pots o’ Gold

Shamrocks

Lucky

Wearing green

Yesterday we made green shamrock sugar cookies in preparation!  We will also be reading about the life of St. Patrick and writing some poetry, maybe paint some rainbows.   My oldest said she wanted to make homemade green cupcakes with icing and then Lucky Charms on top, I told her to go for it! (she makes great cupcakes!)

education.com has sent me a St. Patrick’s Day word search to share with my blog readers.  Print yours free here:  St. Patrick's Day word search PRINTABLE! This coming week is the first day of Spring!! I'm so excited!

I'd love to hear how everyone's school years are going?

Are you still going strong?

Are you feeling burned out?

Are you already planning for next year or just struggling to make it through this one?

Are you the type where you start out strong with new curriculum at the beginning of the school year and by spring you are unschooling?

Have you seen those meme's on like Instagram where it says something like:

"Classical homeschooler in the Fall, Unit Study homeschooler in the Winter, Unschooler in the Spring"

I can't remember the exact wording but I should have saved it cause I feel like I can relate to it hahaha!  I love the freedom of homeschooling and being able to change your approach with the seasons and with your child's interests; just living the lifestyle of learning without having to compartmentalize it into subjects and hours of a week day.

Happy St. Patrick's Day and Happy Homeschooling!

YUMM!
